Client Assets can only be items with a reference (such as a serial number) and are automatically booked into a customer's location when dispatched from stock. They can be booked back in using a customer return.
1. Open the delivery note the item(s) are being dispatched on, and make sure the item is picked from inventory. It is not, click on "Pick"
2. Click "Pick"
3. Click "ร"
4. When the delivery has been made, click on the status button to move it "Delivered" - this books the item out of stock and into the client asset register
5. To view it in the register, click "Go To"
6. Click "Client Assets"
7. Select the customer
8. Click to edit the asset
9. Click the "Links" tab to see connected documents (such as the delivery note), and/ or a service contract
10. Optionally, set a next service date
11. To book an asset out of the client asset list and back into inventory, click on "Go To"
12. Click "Customer Returns"
13. Click "New"
14. Select the customer
15. Click "Add Client Assets"
16. Select the asset to return and click "Add"
17. Click "ร"
18. Set the inventory location the item is to be returned to. You might create an area called "Customer Return" or "Quarantine" for this is the inventory settings
19. Click here.
20. Select the location
21. Tick to confirm
22. Change the status of the customer return to " Received". This removes the asset from the customer's list and returns it into stock.
