Create an automation to create a job / sales order automatically when a quotation is accepted (basic)

Follow these steps to create a job or sales order automatically when the status of a quotation is changed to accepted

Create the automation rule

1. Click the cog icon

2. Click "Automations"

3. Click "Quotation"

4. Click "New Automation"

5. Give your automation rule a name

Set the trigger and delay

6. Click on "Status Changed"

7. Click the "Delay Trigger" field.

8. Add a delay time

NOTE: Adding a delay time to automations just creates a short pause before an automation is executed. This is good practice to prevent automations being triggered accidentally

9. Click the "Is Active" field.

10. Click "Save"

Set the accepted condition

11. Click here to edit the condition

12. Click "Accepted"

13. Click the tick icon

Add the create job action

14. Click here.

15. Click "Create Job"

16. Select the status for your newly created job, in this case, click "Draft"

17. OPTIONAL: Choose a Job pre-build to use for this automation

18. Click "Save & Close"

19. Click "X" to close the panel
