Mentions and Comments can be made against a customer and on all the function modules, such as quotations, Jobs/Sales Orders, invoices, etc.
Comments
A comment is a line of text that appears in the timeline of the customer, quotation etc.
To add a comment, click on the 'Add Comment' button, enter the text and click on 'Save'.
Mentions
These send a mention to another name user in the system. Add one by clicking on the 'Add Comment' button above the timeline:
Enter the required text and use the @ sign to mention a user:
And click on 'Save'.
They mentioned user will see a pop-up panel with your message:
They can click on the panel to see the original quote, order, etc. Mentions are also shown in the bell:
The user will also get an email from the system with the details of the mention. To leave a comment, they should click on the link in the email and respond directly to the quotation, job/sales order, etc.
